Here at field base we have created a real life blog spot where we have posted your comments onto the board for everyone to read over changeover. This is in additon to them being read over the radio - so if you would like something to be posted on the wall please get blogging!!!! I can't tell you how much your messages mean to people, (including me!)

Well done everyone, love the blog with great descriptions of what's been happening your end. Enjoy the last 3 weeks.
Hello Anna and all the Raleigh Team
WELL DONE TO ALL!!!
Just keeping in touch has felt that we here in Ledbury are part of the team and it has been great hearing about the hard work, sweat and tears that you guys are putting in. I am sure its not easy but everyone I speak to here back home wants to know whats going on and are interested and excited and wish you all the very best!
Enjoy the rest and make sure you party 100%
Hello Vincent !
Well Done for completing the work in Nicaragua. I trust the pig on the final evening was tasty...
Now you're back at field base it's time for another party I guess, so enjoy that and recharge yourself ready for the final phase. I'll be very interested to follow your progress on that too.
Today it was snowing and we all went to visit Sinter Klaas, so it's a clear sign the season has changed and will be truly winter when you return. So make sure you enjoy a few more weeks of sunshine while you have the chance now...
All the best,
Pappa.
Hello Joanne (Alpha 1), we've been looking forward to seeing some Alpha 1 photos, and we're still really looking forward to seeing them...hehehe...we hear your project is in a very remote place...the photos they showed us before you went looked a little like Jingning. We also hear that you have been doing very well and we're all very proud of you and are really looking forward to seeing you and hearing all your stories. Felicity xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hey Noud,
Great and glorious stories on the blog! We envy you being in a tropical environment with nice temperatures. Let's hope for the rain to move away. It is suddenly getting rather cold out here. Today they even opened two skilifts in the Belgian Ardennes! So Amerigo is putting on winter tyres to get Sinterklaas on and off the roofs safely... Try to explain that to your Raleigh friends!
You have presented all 15 verses of our national anthem yesterday, haven't you?
We are always close to you in our minds and hearts.
Love,
papa, mama, Gijs, Paulette
(and your four-legged friend Bolke)
Hello Vincent,
Sounds as though you have done some very useful work in Nicaragua. Congratulations to you and the rest of the Alpha 3 team. Hope you all enjoyed the pig! What an honour. You must have all worked very hard to deserve that.
Hope you managed to use some of your Spanish phrases with your host family.
Good luck with the next phase! Have sent you a separate e-mail.
Love, Grandma

Hi Noud,
How are you? Are you having a lot of fun? I've read that you work hard on helping the local people.
In Holland it's snowing, and I'm sure that the weather over there, where you are, is much warmer and there will be less clouds.
I hope you can phone or skype us when you are at the field base, that would be very nice.
I would like to hear your voice again.
Have fun, I think about you every day!
Lots of love,
Xxx Paulette.
Hey Noud,
I bet you're glad that you're not in Holland at the moment, because it's freezing out here!
Very busy with school and stuff, and I have around 6 hours hockeytraining weekly now.
I'm looking forward to seeing you with Xmas..
We miss you here and it's too quiet without you.
Big hug from your lil bro.
Hi Emily, I'm not sure what Dad has done he's written 2 blogs but I can't see them, technology was never his strength! We are looking forward to finally seeing some photo's from Alpha 1 in Nicaragua, I hope your Spanish was useful. We have had the Bazaar weekend Grace made £20 and has spent it in Plymouth already!
Lots of people asking after you including many from Trelana. I hope you get chance to call on Monday.
Love and Hugs Mum & Dad

Hi Georgie,
Hope you're well and still having fun. I see you've discovered the delights of long drops, were they as bad as Leeds festival?! Hope the rain stops soon for you, although its so cold here - my hot water bottle is quite literally a lifesaver! Can't wait to see you again at Christmas. Enjoy your last phase. Lots of Love Hannah xx
Hey Shona,
Received your e-mail there, good to hear your keeping well. Were all getting on the best at home, well when I say home, Claire is still getting on great in Spain and she was in majorca at the weekend there and said it was great. Martin is still drinking flat out in London (he likes to call it work)lol. Damien is still getting on grand in savannah but im not sure if he is doing much flying recently. He says he is looking forward to seeing u visit him before Christmas….. and me, well im the only homebird at the minute. Still trying to fly the flag for the mcguigans in Belfast. Still making the most of student life - in other words drinking and taking it as handy as I can. Then again you would know all about it after you doing it four years.lol...Hope your using any of the Spanish u remember to communicate with the host families and not relying on hand signals.lol..Have to run on here now as im flat out at coursework…..
Look after yourself anyway and remember to keep content that’s the main thing…
All the best from your bigger younger brother……Gerard
P.S. “KEEP HER COUNTRY”
