Alpha 1 - Happily trekking along the Turrimacho route.Tomorrow night are due to reach the Cordillera de Talamanca, the continental ridge that divides Costa Rica. Oooooohhhh
Alpha 2 - In the last couple of days have been trekking through the jungle but are due to emerge today and be surprised by our crazy Tico Keiner!
Alpha 3 - Have been trekking through some beautiful Nicaraguan terrain and are due to meet Bravo 1 today...
Alpha 4 - Exploring Volcan Turrialba with the park rangers, a well deserved break from the hard work they've done on the path
Alpha 5 - Have been digging up pipes and rearranging a trail down in La Cangreja.
Alpha 6 - The construction work continues, posts are cemented in place and the digging of trenches begins. Sounds like hard work!
Alpha 7 - After digging their trenches they are currently building a water tank...
Delta 1 - Finished the fence on their hatchery and last night saw a turtle laying an egg! Amazing!
Delta 2 - Have had a bit of rain but thats not getting them down, the turtle patrols continue and they have a "posh" day organised.
Delta 3 - Cement mixing, brick laying and building long drops, woohoo!
Delta 4 - Moving timber and putting up posts, labouring on but in good spirits.
Unfortunately we haven't quite developed the technology for our Alphas and Deltas to transmit their photos via radio waves, but Dawn is on the road and will be clicking, uploading and reporting as she goes. Expecting more info on Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 tonight...
And finally the big mean green machine that is Bravo 3 (consisting of Abi, Kat, Sarah, Wendy and Wellard) heads out today on a mission to provide messages, supplies and good humour to our expedition groups.
