The environmental groups are also doing well and have settled into their new homes for the next 18 days at Playa Hermosa (Alpha 4) and Chirripo (Alpha 3).
One of the Trek groups had to take a little detour today after finding the River Congo (not as big as it sounds!) was too deep to cross. With a small and forgivable use of public transport they've managed to get back on track and are pushing on with the next part of the route.
Tomorrow a team from field base will set out to deliver the first of the food drops to the Turrisantos Trek group (Alpha 1), so if you want to get a message to them please post up as soon as possible. Please remember to include the name of the person it is to, as we've already got several messages that we can't identify.
Oh and Daz also requested that she is allowed to say hello! So here she is...
Until tomorrow, Pura Vida!
