Dr.Challoner's School Expedition Update

Greetings from Yankee 1 and 2.....

Hello everyone,

We are having an amazing time here, the school is well on the way and we have made lots of Costa Rican friends :) Our group (Yankee 1) is brilliant, we have bonded so much and love each other loads. We have had some unbelievably hot days, as well as a few incredible rain storms, in which we had a bit of a boogie, and the locals thought we were crazyy!
We are looking forward to the trek and the beach, cant believe how fast it is going! we are all rather dirty and we hope that you still love us when you smell us! we have had many many jokes and cant wait to see you all, but at the same time never want to leave, we love it here.
hope everyones well,
lots of love from,
alice revens, lucy brown, ellie bailey, sheena gordon (birthday girl) and olivia murphy!!

Yankee 1 cooling off after a hard days work

Hello from Yankee 2 in Jerry! Progress has been made with the school as the floor has been finished and plastering began. Kim and pals have created a colourful sign on a log so the kids know where to go! We are on our third visit to the primary school with much enthusiasm and tales of joy on their return. Today, Zoe, Katie, Liv and Ellie have visited the high school in Buenos Aires, we are loving the colourful, cheery environment much unlike DCHS/DCGS. Enjoying pastries from the best bakery in town (according to Andrey). Yesterday we stomped to Yankee 1 base accompanied all the way by our increasingly loyal stinky wolf dog. It was brilliant to surprise Yankee 1 and compare their base to ours (ours is better!). Today, we are buying supplies for our fiesta tomorrow with friends and the family who own our house. In general, everyone is happy and loving it, cannot wait for the river this afternoon and football - its been two days.
Until we return, lots of love Yankee 2.
