Role Call: Our Inspiring Venturers. Nuestros Ventureros Inspiradores

We know you are all probably wondering how your loved ones are getting on out here since they arrived at Raleigh Costa Rica and Nicaragua's Fieldbase, as you can imagine with 160 volunteers it is a little bit tough to get everyone onto the blog... but we thought we would try! Here is Expedition 13A and our Venturer Role Call - our inspiring young people:

Aqui en Fieldbase, estamos concientes de que van a estar pensando en como estan sus queridos desde que llegaron a Raleigh International. Como pueden imaginar, con 160 voluntarios, es un poco dificil poner las fotos de todos en el blog... pero hemos tratado hacerlo! Aqui esta el equipo de 13A, y nuestro de pasaje de lista de Ventureros - nuestros jovenes inspiradores:

    Salaamz Rakeem, your looking tired in the photo after a long journey but we know that you're geared up to help people who are less fortunate than ourselves.Maryam Saarah and Kasim are all remembering you and missing you heaps. Me and your dad are really proud of you for voluntering on this project, takes a big man to show this kind of commitment.

    Hi Saree,
    Got your messages and I am glad you are getting into things. I am looking into your flights for after Raleigh. Don't fret about it - it can be sorted out!
    All the Hispanists in my department are listening in to your adventures when I tell them about it at school. You lucky duck going off to Nicaragua- sounds brilliant and being in a remote area working there will be a unique experience. Keep that diary going!
    We are enjoying the blog very much and it sounds pretty lively.
    Not much to report here. It is 8am, pouring with rain and I mean pouring so the dog is looking even more morose and Dad has trudged off to work. I have a mountain of books to mark and a pile of essays too Grrr!
    Lucky you to be in the sunshine, somewhere completely different!
    Hope the night time hike went well. Seen any interesting wildlife? Hannah will be gnashing her teeth!!
    Enjoy yourself and what you are doing now. Stop worrying about later!

    Ottie Westerink - alpha 6 - Yoh lieve Otje!!!! Ik schrijf dit een paar uur nadat je vertrokken bent met je groepje! Wrsch zit je al redelijk in de bush! Soms 10 uur lopen op een dag, daar is onze mont blanc tour niks bij vergeleken! Zo stoer! Echt heel cool! Wat zie je allemaal? Mooie natuur? En laten de spinnetjes je nu met rust? Rugzak ok? We volgen je allemaal op de blog, ook ammie, pipa en nana! Flipsie is net terug van wintersport, had het geweldig! Kippen tokken nog en lucca mist je!
