X-Ray 3 update

X-Ray 3 fans, we know you are anxious, and so are we. We are waiting for photos from the Bravo 3 party who should be back at field base this evening. Meanwhile here's a short update based on this morning's SITREP.

At the time of writing, the team had already de-camped and were on their way to Playa Hermosa to chill out  by the beach and maybe even release some turtle hatchlings if they're lucky. It has been a wonderful second phase at La Cangreja with the abating rainfall, copious sunshine and teeming wildlife. This meant lots of productive days working on the mirador and planting trees, frequently ending with a nice splash in the river by their jungle camp.

The view of the sunrise from the mirador is nothing short of majestic. We will update with more photos soon.

Great to see photos of you - at last.
Looks like you are having fun and adventure in jungle. Looks more dense than our Zambian bush safari.
    Missing you

Big, big news today - Dad won his planning appeal! Lots more work to do but this was the big one he was waiting for.

Other big, big news (although I'm sure you probs already know by now)- is the wedding of the year next year. And I'm not talking about Wills and Kate! Miss Cox is engaged - it was around the school in an hour!

If you're planning to call this weekend, we'll be on our mobiles Sat or try us at home Sunday.

Love, Mum, Dad and a smelly dog! xxx
